Jacqueline S. DiPego
Culinary Instructor
Jacqueline S. DiPego, a graduate of C.H.I.C. (Cooking and Hospitality Institute) of Chicago, is a Pastry Chef by trade and is a strong advocate for heart healthy and nutritionally sensitive foods. She is a certified lifestyle educator and trained in First Line Nutritional Therapy.
Ms. DiPego developed a recipe series targeting consumers with Diabetes and other health issues. Ms. DiPego uses her expertise in nutrient composition to develop salad dressings and other products that make healthy foods taste better and exceed nutritional values and organic requirements.
As owner of Giramond World Patisserie in Lemont, Illinois, Ms. DiPego created a European style Patisserie specializing in wedding cakes, specialty desserts, and Bistro fare with particular interest in satisfying consumer requirements for heart health, low sugar, and allergy sensitive recipes.
Ms. DiPego also serves on the board of LaSalle Street Senior Center, where she prepares food for 80-100 seniors each week. Ms. DiPego utilizes her culinary expertise in sharing her passion of Cooking and Baking with the seniors.
At The Oasis Center for Health, Ms. DiPego choreographs culinary instruction, food tasting and demonstration classes and workshops. Clients may participate with market excursions at a nearby demonstration kitchen to learn about recipe modification, stocking a healthful pantry or menu planning.
