Bharat Kalra, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki/Cranial Sacral

Certified Male Massage Therapist licensed for practice after completing therapy studies from European Massage Therapy School in Skokie. "Massage to me is not just a session of mechanical work consisting of some effurage, petrissage strokes and trigger-points. My view of massage is as a holistic treatment applied to restore a sense of well-being in the patient."

Massage sessions are a mix of techniques including Hands-on, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy which bring holistic results. Clients have reported a sense of deep and profound relaxation. Many of them have repeatedly had emotional release not experienced before.

Ashtang Yoga
Completed yoga study, training and certification at Shivanand Ashram, Ahmedabad, India. Recently completed programs covering the latest developments in therapeutic yoga at Gujarat Vidhyapith, Ahmedabad, India.

"No mantra chanting, no idol worshipping, no mysticism, no rituals. Simply be with yourself-that is what meditation is all about. The best part of it is that it is not Hindu, Buddhist or some such thing. This will bring you the sense of complete health that you can feel in every cell of your body. To me this is the real spirituality. If you get into the core of it you experience the bliss and the feeling of home-coming."

Reiki The Healing Energy
Independent Reiki Master with 3rd degree qualifications as well as a qualified Traditional Reiki Teacher. Reiki with its roots in Tibet/India was first discovered by Dr. Mikau Usui, a Japanese doctor in late 18th century and was passed on down the line by teachers to pupils. In this modality of healing the energy centers in the body are balanced by gently putting hands on them.

Craniosacral Therapy
First level of CST from Upledger Institue, Florida. Cranisacral fluid that flows from brain to sacrum has a rhythm of its own. A craniosacral therapy session requires the therapist going through a ten step protocol by placing hands on the patient, which allows him to tune into what is called the craniosacral rhythm. It is a very gentle modality of healing. Basic correction in the craniosacral rhythm can bring amazing results. Chronic pain, mental stress, migrane, TMJ Syndrome and many more such conditions can be helped with this technique.
